I Survived Surgery

It's been ten days since I had my back surgery and am here to tell that I survived. The day of my surgery when I woke up I actually felt worse. I had extremely horrific(like 10 times worse) nerve pain down both my legs into my feet not just my left one. I finally got to see my surgeon the next day and he ensured me that the surgery went exactly as planned and the nerve pain would go away after 2-4 weeks. The cause of the pain was due to the excessive amount on handling of the nerve to get it into place and it was inflamed I am on massive amounts of nerve and standard pain relievers and I feel like I'm in another world. My spine repair will function at 90% of what it did before and will need more work as the years pass. The nerve damage although fixed and most of the pain will go away 70-8-% the nerve is permanently crushed and will continue to degrade. For now I'm looking forward to a somewhat pain free beginning to my new life,

I'm a bit scared because of the nerve work they will be doing but the pain relief will be welcome.
